Another £2bn a year down that sinkhole called the EU

This guy Barroso must be off his Rocker
Will the drip, drip, drip of this Chinese style water torture ever stop? These EU finance gurus think two and two makes five, but you can see where Juan Manuel Barroso is coming from, with his latest budget demand.  “I have to listen to all 27 states and many want to see an increase because they receive massive subsidies,” he said.  One of the governments he must have in mind has to be his own Portugese shambles. They’re ‘brassic lint’, skint, bankrupt at the EU Casino, depending on the ECB to prop up their banks, in much the same way the baleouts for Greece, go straight to the pockets of the French and German Banks who probably have a few billon odd Euros worth of Portugese Bonds too.

In the end the only solution if the taxpayer is the lender of last resort, is to take charge of the banks and restructure them. In the end the French and Germans will have to cough up like we did, nationalise their banks and restructure, especially this bunch of blinkered plonkers at the ECB, just playing for time as the mood music gradually grinds to a halt.

Obviously these plonkers in Brussels and Strasbourg are totally out of their depth when comes to arithmetic and anything goes to preserve their precious vision of a Federal Superstate, totally at odds with reality. Especially when they can’t even balance their own books and haven’t managed an auditor’s signature on them, for more than a decade. Is it any wonder the vast majority of Brits want out? Whilst the majority of  people in our Westminster Parliament, are scared stiff of a referendum and won’t put it to the vote. Why? Because they already know the verdict will be, let’s end it and our Parliament is presently riddled with Europhiles! They’re like woodworm in the very benches they occupy.

At a time like this we need Europe, like we need a hole in the head. They’re milking us dry, trying to drag us down to their level. It’s time to stand on our own feet and make our own laws, decide who we want living in our midst and recover our right to do something about it, from this disastrous, pernicious European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). They’re making judgements day after day which set them at odds with our English Common Law. A tried and tested system that has stood the test of time and is now effectively neutered, as they handed out  £20,000 of our hard earned taxes recently to convicted criminals. Money that should be going to paydown the deficit of thirteen wasted years.

This madness has to stop, its blood boiling stuff, dishonouring amongst thieves and the parliamentary process that sustains it. The British people were fooled into joining in this EU free for all by Edward Heath and then saw it perpetuated by Harold Wilson when the only referendum we ever had on the subject of in or out, led us to believe we were merely participating in a Common Market.

We can be out of this Union in less than twenty-four hours by an Act of Parliament and the time has come to abandon all these ridiculous demands for more and more of our taxes. We need them to finance our deficit, if we’re ever going to balance our own books.

Have a generation of Union leaders lost their Marbles?

Checkout  tomtom

Biggest strike in a generation?

They certainly don’t do History, do they? It’s like the rebirth of Red Robbo, the infamous British Motor Corporation (BMC) and all that. Campbeds at the ready for the night shift and all that. Sir Michael Edwards, British Leyland and all that.

A quick shufti at the model range courtesy of Wikipedia and Battista Farina, called in by BMC to redesign the entire model range back in those days (circa 1950s) and a fair few of the models would not look out of place today with a few modified body panels. Are we any further forward in making a cheap efficient runabout for the public at large, not forgetting the Swatch Company’s attempts at a plastic pig of a Smart Car and the Delboy Reliant Van? Things have not moved on, even as the car makers attempt to make it as hard as possible to maintain a vehicle yourself. Whilst the Unions sit contemplating their navels.

Yep contemplating their navels, as the carmakers now freed of this aggravation, try to cream off the lion’s share of what it takes to keep a vehicle on the road. In the face of secondhand motor sales and all the rackets it encourages, like clocking and bodging by the unscrupulous wheeler-dealers the trade attracts. So to get back to the Union aspect of all this, the history lessons I spoke of and the examples from the past which seem to be lost, on the current crop of so-called Union Leaders.

They have learned nothing other than how to live the good life, on the back of their member’s subscriptions. Whilst they try to bring the country to a standstill and hark back to the dark days of Arthur Scargill’s infamous Miners Strike of ’84 that got the Unions exactly nowhere. Other than a place where they are still trying to live, in total ignorance of past lessons and what seems like an abiding desire to bring this Great Britain to its knees. Whilst looking for the kind of perks enjoyed only by Greeks.

Maybe they think it would be great to be able to sit back and wait for the EU and the IMF to come to the rescue, in the way they are trying to do with this Greek Tragedy of Errors. There can be little or nothing left in their locker, as they try to mount what they claim will be the ‘Biggest strike in a generation’. It has to be the absolute daftest idea anyone could come up with, to benefit the populace in our present situation.

Give voters shares in bailed-out banks, says Nick

 The new Delboy?
Writes Tom Stack in an innovative attempt to make sense out of Nick’s suggestion  With due credit to the Telegraph’s Christopher Hope, in Rio de Janeiro June 23rd 2011 for bringing this matter to our attention.

‘By Christmas Rodney, we’ll all be millionaires.’
Nice try Nick, it should see a few disaffected, Lib-Dem lost souls, return to the fold. If you can pull it off? Though if it really works out you could even finish up as Prime Minister of a Coalition to end all Coalitions. The kind of Coalition that changes in its entirety, the way we are governed forever.

None of the beneficiaries in this scheme will  need to work anymore and we can all relax in an atmosphere of DiY, Televiewing, Gaming and TV Bingo on our own individual main frame computers. While we decide on which South Pacific Island, Caribbean Beach or Mediterranean hotspot, to spend our newfound leisure hours, lazing away our newfound financial security and independence.

No more worries about job security, pensions or yob culture taking over our everyday lives, we’ll get rid of that last item at a stroke, as we’ll all be yobs. Though we will need to turn our attention to who runs thing to support this new way of life for our indigenous population. That’s the families who lived and worked here pre-WWII.

However, we can’t possibly turn all these illegal immigrants and their dependants into instant millionaires. It would open the floodgates. We’ll need to be a bit circumspect too, about who qualifies and who gets what. So we need to issue these new Nick Clegg bank shares with discretion. We’ll need nominating committees and we’ll have to create a few more Quangos to oversee the distribution and allocation, to make sure they are only distributed to the fortunate few.

Anyone attributed with a lottery win should immediately be excluded from this scheme so we’ll need a register of anyone with more than £150 grand to his name, which no doubt includes all property owners, though we’ll need a safety net here for any of the nouveau riche who fell for the Blair/Brown/Mandelson  ♫ Tra-la-la - things can only get better ♫ line and have been plunged into negative equity.

But we can leave that to all the busybodies who will come forward to staff the new Quangos, wanting to make sure no one gets a few steps ahead of them in the millionaire stakes. Then all of a sudden I woke up, was it all a dream or more likely a nightmare, promoted out of desperation by the nearly man leading a nearly party (the Lib-Dems) for self-aggrandisement. Will this Nick dodge work? Only time will tell as the measures promoted by George and his Treasury Team kick-in in the coming months and year, as as we deal with the legacy of new Labour’s busted flush.

Though how it’s going to rumble with the taxpayers who lose out on the back of such a giveaway, is bit of a dilemma in reality. It smacks a bit of  an electioneering bribe using the Treasury to bankroll it.  In a way, it sounds like a good idea, though I doubt the real movers and shakers in the ‘City’ will be impressed. The 7% who play fast and loose with 84% of our national wealth they ultimately own.

Fork in the road, eh Ed?

By tomtom -: click here for a Tom Stack Short Story
_______________________________________

Hopefully after the Ball was over, though they certainly left plenty of potholes

Every road has a multitude of forks and as Ed Balls wriggles and squirms to present his clapped out economic views, as to how it would have been better under Labour. Can you imagine what our prospects would really have been, if  the shylocks had got to pile on the agony here for UK Plc., like they have for Portugal, Ireland, Greece & Spain.

Of course the Rt. Hon. Balls patently ignores the facts of life that left half of the Euro Money participants limping along to Michael Heseltine’s famous soundbite Left! Left! Left! As the ragged Blair/Brown/Mandelson Fabian inspired army, bereft of any way to turn was hoist by its own petard.

All these attempts to paint a different picture from the flawed and failed remnants of the economy are Doomed, Ed. Why? Well down the centuries 20/21 since 1924 we have been plagued by Labour efforts to turn the tide Canute style their way, efforts which have come to nothing; other than total and utter failure. Now so patently obvious, in the medicine necessary to placate the shylocks and convince them their juice is safe.

Socialist government has ruin trailing in its wake. These plonkers live by robbing Peter to pay Paul and it took the USSR 70 odd years to before they finished up skint, to find this out. It should now be crystal clear even to those dimwits, who still want us to embrace this Fabian Socialist stupidity in the British Isles that we have their number and the game is up.

That they never can and never should be trusted ever again, to experiment with UK Plc. For every attempt so far since 1924 has resulted in economic chaos. Often in ways quite similar to problems encountered in the USA post Clinton Administration, when the Glass/Steagall legislation was neutered to open up the prospects for a global credit crunch, the likes of which we are now reeling from across the globe.

So for the time being its goodbye to him and goodbye to them come the Presidential Election of 2012. Whilst all we can do is hope and pray that the electorate of these British Isles, this Great Britain and those in the US of A have seen through this Socialist Agenda. That they’ve spotted the self-evident fact that it always leads to economic chaos and can decide they will never again let it reign supreme, over anything bigger than a Piggy Bank.

You know it makes sense!

Another day, another dollar?

As reporters go on the rampage to rubbish our wonderful Coalition.gov.uk

Climbdowns, stinging attacks, entrapment are all newspaper tosh and the scare tactics even appear to be spreading to Industry spokesmen. But Gov’t policies are not influenced in the pages of a daily rag? All these men and women should grow up and refrain from this edge of the seat stuff; it doesn’t change government policies or indeed massage the sales figures of tomorrow’s chip paper.

It merely offends the right thinking activists, who the world depends on to ensure democracy develops and prospers across the globe. So, if indeed a newspaper hack needs to get noticed by his editor, there have to be other ways of achieving it, without this constant hyperbole. No doubt the newspaper and broadcasting hacks have to fight for ascendancy, but to rubbish people and pursue entrapment techniques does them no favours, especially when it descends to the level of the dark side of the moon.

Fabricating situations and scenarios is for novelists, not reporters, they should concentrate on getting it right, rather straying into areas they’re forced into, in the mistaken belief that sensationalism will project them to the dizzy heights of an international TV interviewer of significance.

It’s like being one of the sixty odd thousand aspirants it takes, to produce a Premiership Super Striker. Only one in a million around the globe is gonna make it, so relax boys and girls, just get on with doing what you do best to the limit of your abilities.

You know it makes sense!

Into the Valley of Death rides the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)?

tomtom  -: Click here - For a quick glimpse at a Tom Stack Short Story.
or
See below for today's Blog of Blogs

__________________________________________________

Dave’s BĂȘte Noir?
More (ECHR) rulings, which go against the grain of good old Anglo-Saxon Commonsense are on the cards again. It seems of late, that not a day goes by without yet another cock-a-mammy ruling from these self-appointed guardians of a code of moral justice. which flies in the face of commonsense. Matters are hitting the headlines all too frequently of late, which  defy the codes of practice that have served these 6000+ islands of ours for untold centuries, fly in the face of the commonsense and are alien to our culture.

European Human Rights Legislation is a new Labour legacy, rapidly becoming a raging toothache which needs surgical attention. Like being pulled root and branch from the English Common Law before it does anymore damage to our Anglo-Saxon way of life and it might not be so long before it turns Dave into a bĂȘte noire, the cause rather than any kind of solution.

Methinks indeed, he doth protest quite loudly, but the action matches not the rhetoric, as Dave admits that certain rulings are “offensive,” But what really riles back here in UK Plc., is that Ministers say they have no choice but to comply in changing our rules.  A recent case in respect of a register we keep of known offenders, being the latest involving the (ECHR) ruling which sets these so-called judges, against political and public opinion.

That it has increased calls for reform of the (ECHR) Act, which is being reviewed by a Coalition Committee, there is no doubt. That little or nothing is being done is an insult to the vast majority of Anglo-Saxon Society. The most civilised society there is, that taught the world all there is to know about, Democracy, Compassion and Liberal Government, Government of the people, for the people, by the people – to paraphrase famous US President Abraham Lincoln.

It’s time for action not rhetoric Dave, time to show us what you’re made of and dump this Europhile nonsense before it drowns us in an Ocean of Debt.  Yes Dave an Ocean of Debt,  forged by a bunch of chancers who can’t make two and two add up or balance a mountain of debt-ridden corruption which has defied the best efforts of an army auditors for more than a decade.

Though what stops us making the rules we want to follow, back here in the UK, is most surely a lack of resolve and appropriate action in our Westminster Parliament. We can dump this flawed and failed putative European Super State adventurism, in less than twenty four hours and all it will take is an Act of Parliament and a single signature by Her Majesty QEII.

You know it makes sense Dave!

NHS Uturn? What Uturn? Tories don’t do Uturns?

By tomtom
Do us a favour Nick, no more sensationalism, it grates!

Nick Clegg’s triumphalism is certain to anger Conservative MPs wrote the Telegraph’s Patrick Hennessy and Laura Donnelly 11 Jun 2011

'In reality,' remarks Tom, 'it’s just any port in a storm for Nick, though the storm that has overtaken the Lib-Dems, since the coalition was formed is little more than a storm in a teacup. Nevertheless it has shaken their core support to its very roots, which must say something about the mentality of the people who support Lib-Dems.'

They must think they are a real party which is rejected because the electorate don’t understand them. Though it has to be said that about all they ever do is a bit of ‘Blowing in the Wind’. It’s much on a par with all these campaigning groups like the Bruges, the Taxpayers Alliance, Big Brother Watch, Unlock Democracy and probably several hundred more, too numerous to list in one small blog.

They garner supporters from some are really credible entities, to get in funds, but in reality they’re little more than job creation schemes for people who can’t think of anything better to do with themselves. The thing is that the reality in all this protesting, achieves little in the way of real change.

Why you may well ask? Well, it’s because the real levers of power, when push comes to shove, are in the Houses of Parliament and the Council Chambers of Local Government. The minute you mention political activity to all or any of these plonkers they head for the exit at Warp Speed.

But if you want real change in the way our national and local business is conducted that is where you have to be, with a commanding presence. It also belies the fact that the reason a lot of people give on the doorstep for not voting, is that they don’t ‘DO’ politics. Sometimes, believe it or not it’s the leader of a party that rails with a lot of people, as they say, “change your leader and I’ll vote for your party.” But in the end, it usually comes down to, “what’s in it for me?”

However, after the drubbing Nick encountered from within his own ranks for joining the Coalition to help bale out the mess bequeathed to the nation by the latest attempt to Fabianise our daily life, he’s entitled to crow about ‘Uturns‘. Provided of course, that the electorate at large don’t take it too seriously or we’ll probably finish up in a bigger mess than the Blair/Brown /Balls Mandelson Axis of Evil bequeathed to the Nation. When  their ill-fated attempt to Fabianise the entire world as we know it, hit the buffers.

It’s like WWIII is upon us, as we face a future of austerity that was entirely unnecessary!
